- Beeswax is the ONLY wax that is 100% non-toxic when burned. In fact, not only is it a clean burn, it is actually neutralizing pollutants and dust, purifying the air.
- Additionally, the wick is wooden and therefore also a clean burn, and even produces a very subtle and quiet crackle from time to time, like you're sitting by a gentle fire. (You will not hear this wick crackle consistently throughout your whole burn) *these wicks are completely American made, being sourced and manufactured in the USA from the Forest Stewardship Council
Why is beeswax better than paraffin and soy?
- Paraffin is a petroleum based product, meaning you are burning the sludge at the bottom of petroleum oil cans. When you burn paraffin, you are breathing in carcinogenic pollutants.
- Soy wax cannot be rendered without some paraffin wax. In addition, soy has been so modified by humans that it has become resistent to pesticides, insecticides, etc, that it unfortunately encourages farmers to use harsh, non-natural chemical pesticides, insecticides, etc.
- Additionally, consuming soy is NOT eco-friendly. It contributes to deforestation because of the increasing clearing of forests and rainforests to cultivate soy.
- On the contrary, beeswax is a natural byproduct of bees, and beekeeping does not necessitate the clearing of trees.
Meanings of different Crystals:
- Labradorite (dark gray stone that shimmers blue and yellow at different angles) - protection, intuition, psychic abilities, divination, shield, throat chakra
- Amazonite (light blue) - enhances confidence, encourages expression of thought without fear of judgement, promotes creativity, self-worth - especially in women, calming - good for meditation/healing, throat chakra, heart chakra
- Rainbow Fluorite (light blue, purple, yellow) - creativity, intuition, grounding, shield, focus, clears distractions, clarifies decision making, concentration, mental clarity

Clean Burning Beeswax Candles
The first time you burn your candle, burn it for 4 hours to avoid tunneling and to get the maximum life out of your candle.
After that, burn at least 1-2 hours each time, or at least until the wax melts to the outer edge.
I also recommend using a wick trimmer to trim your wick back to 5/16" before each use.
*If you don't have a wick trimmer, use a paper towel wrapped around your fingers to pinch off the burnt top of the wick. Be sure to do this only once it is completely cooled off. There may be a thin line of black remaining on top of the wick.
